Devils Backbone Utah
From Torrey, Utah headed south on hwy 12... one of the most scenic byways in America.... no joke! it's the central Utah highlands headed south into the heart of the 4 corners plateau. It's phenomenal!!! Really.... a great drive.
You just stop at places and get out on the side of the road and just stare,... in a 360* circle for a couple minutes... It's the middle of the universe. And there is NO one there. Just you to enjoy. Without any jerkface on the other end of their cell phone talking about shopping for ranch potato chips in wal mart.
This goes through the heart of Capitol Reef national Park. A rare place to see!
