Ok, we've been knocked over seeing Taos Pueblo.... 1,000+ year old UNESCO world heritage site. ?What else could be here? go see Kit carson's museum? Then we ask the usual question to one of the local folks ... ?What would you take your favorite Uncle to see here?
And the answer is: ?Have you driven out to Gorge Bridge? No. Oh, go see that
So seven miles out hwy 64 is a short drive and then .... WOW !!!
The Bridge , and the Gorge,,,.... The Taos volcanic plateau and the Rio Grande River has cut through the basalt flows... and the view of 40+ miles visibility is worth seeing. Snowcapped Taos mountain 20 miles away WOW ! Take a drive out to see this.
